This year's event took place on Sunday 2nd July.
Starting, as usual, from Penhale Round at Fraddon, this year's route featured a
return to the mid and North Cornwall areas. After a mid morning coffee halt at
Prideaux Place, Padstow, the route wound down across the western side of Bodmin
Moor to the lunch break at Lakeview Country Park near Lanivet.
The afternoon sections took cars through the Mount and Warleggan areas on the
south side of the moor via Golitha Falls before going up to the high ground at
Minions and Upton Cross. Eventually cars crossed the A38 and made their way
through Looe towards the finish at Boconnoc House, a total of some 120 miles.
Despite some of the later numbers being badly delayed by a traction engine in
what was probably the narrowest section of the whole route, everyone seemed to
thoroughly enjoy themselves again.
