St Eval Sprint - 2006 Season
We again held five meeting at St Eval, but on five separate Sundays running from 14th May through until 2nd September. Our track alterations, incorporating a new start line area, met with almost universal approval and enabled us to run 85 cars without endangering our 6.00pm "curfew" agreement with the local church. The Sprint and Hillclimb scene has been enjoying a strong revival in the County (at the expense of Stage Rallying where, unfortunately, the reverse is true). Accordingly, we were blessed with huge entries and three of our meeting were oversubscribed this year. The St Eval Club Sprint Championship attracted a record 66 entries from Club members (see below). Spectator numbers were also strong making it a very successful year from every point of view. A big thank you to all our unpaid marshalls and officials who helped us again this season. We hope that you will accept our invitation to join us as our guests at the Annual Dinner on 1st December by way of our appreciation.

Congratulations to "the man who used to have a Clan", Grahame Harden who drove his bike-engined Westfield to such good effect this year beating some quick drivers who were nibbling at his heels!
