The first St Eval Sprint is done and dusted and a very good show it was. May the 10th saw all roads leading to St Eval as the South West motorsport cavalcade gathered to begin the 2009 sprint season!
Again the event ran like clockwork thanks to the Marshals and Organising team.
An added bonus came from the spectator interest … it was great to see so many and reassuring to know it will take more than a recession to stop us enjoying our particular passion.
The sight of so many supporters also had quite an affect on our Treasurer, whose smile - they tell me could be seen down Geevor Mine!
Talking of money, this year the club is again supporting a charity and money raised will go to Cornwall Hospice Care. It is a charity the club has supported for many years and with the recession hitting hard - needs all the support it can get!
