I happen to notice on the following page of the “St Eval Community Action
Forum” website: -
http://st-eval.org/page6.html
an article which was good to see … and I quote: -
"25th July 2010
The "Cornish Motorsport" title is a generic term covering the informal
Association of the Cornish Motor Clubs and Clubs who promote motor sport within
the County. Newquay Auto Club is one of the clubs that organises "Sprints" on
the old airfield hangar site where sprints have been held for over 50 years
since permission was granted by the MOD back in 1955.
On Sunday 25th July two members of SEACAF (Save
St Eval Community Facilities ) were invited to make a bucket
collection around the pits and spectator area which realised around £227.00.
Newquay Auto Club then topped this up with a cheque for a further £100.00
which brought the collection up to £327.00.
The members of SEACAF would like to pass on their thanks to all those that
contributed and wishes the future of motorsport in Cornwall every success".

St Eval village still has that close knit community many others envy. It is inspiring to see the determination of the residents to fight for their community.
Thank you people for giving your support.
