Classic Tour of Cornwall

On the 20th October 2011 a presentation between Newquay Auto Club and Cornwall Hospice Care took place outside the Hospice's new premises at Holmbush, St Austell.
Proceeds from their annual charity Classic Tour of Cornwall event enabled Newquay A. C. to present the Hospice with a cheque for £2108.95. Those present included the owners of two gleaming classic cars which took part in this years run. They were the Triumph TR3 of John Ferrris and the Jaguar XJS of Geoff Trewella.
Presenting the cheque in loving memory of his wife Kathy was Kim Goostry and representing Newquay A.C. Roger Woodley.
Sara, who received the donation on the hospice's behalf thanked everyone involved in this fund raising event, not only the ones who took part but also the people who simply donated generously in support of the event.
Cornwall Hospice Care's new premise at Holmbush is well worth a visit. The quality of goods donated does credit to the people who have given so generously. Many of us have a reason for being very grateful for the work the hospice does, others give knowing what an important part it plays in our society. Thank you all.
