A tribute to Ian Thomas
On Saturday 27th November 2010 our very dear friend Ian sadly passed away at home.
Ian was a long standing passionate member of our club. Never more so than when holding the post of competition secretary for a number of years.
Behind the wheel Ian was fiercely competitive and a highly talented driver … pushing his blue Mallock to the limit on every occasion. He always posted incredible times, often resulting in record breaking runs and FTD’s.
Ian was a devoted family man who lived life to the full, he had a wicked sense of humour and always ready to play a practical joke on the unsuspecting.
Out of the car Ian was always a popular figure in the pits, a guy who was always willing to help, a true and dear friend, one of life’s giver’s. A giver of time to others a giver of love to his family.
He will not be forgotten.
